Localised Structural Drain Repair

This method of drainage repairing is part of our ‘No Dig’ technology solutions.

A ‘No-Dig’ repair solution allows us to repair a damaged area of underground or in-accessible pipe without the disruption of digging or excavation.
Think of it as the key-hole surgery of the drainage world!

If after a CCTV survey, it is deemed as a viable method of repairing your damaged drain pipe, using the manhole drain cover access point we send down a remote control robot fitted with a camera to repair the damage to the drain pipe.

How does Localised Structural Repair (Patching) work?

If the damaged area of the drain is just a small area, this can be “patched” to using a method that enables a high quality and permanent repair.

The ‘patching’ technique repairs the damaged area using fibre-glass matting and a resin that when cured ensures the pipe’s integrity is fully restored.

A fibre-glass mat is prepared with a resin coating and then an inflatable device takes it down the pipe and into position using CCTV to guide it.

Once in position, the robotic device is then inflated and the resin coated fibre-glass matt is pushed against the damaged area of the drain and then left to cure.
